I really loved living at Opal 1 this year. Its right in the middle of town so there's always somewhere to eat and its only about 5 minutes away from my campus.

My room was pretty big to say it was only a standard, and was newly decorated when I moved in, which was pretty cool. There's a common room with a pool table and Sky TV, which is a great place to bring your friends or study if your flatmates get a bit noisy.

The staff are amazing, its great to go in and just have a chat to the hall manager and the security, and its pretty good to know that the security is the 24/7 in case something happens, and you've got their mobile number in case you need to give them a call.

There's also a pub NEXT DOOR on either side, one which is a typical pub and one which sells loads of different types of beer!!

I felt really safe and part of a community. I'm definitely staying with Opal this year, but I'm thinking of going to Opal 3, because the rooms there are even bigger and its all brand new!
